The Circumference of the circle is 15.7 cm15.7cm and Area is 19.625 cm19.625cm

Explanation:

We know that,

Circumference of Circle = 2pir=2πr

and

Area of Circle = pir^2=πr2

The radius here is 2.5 cm because radius is the half of diameter. The value of piπ is 3.14

Now,

Circumference of Circle:

= 2*3.14*2.5=23.142.5

= 6.28*2.5=6.282.5

= 15.7 cm=15.7cm

Area of Circle:

= 3.14*(2.5)^2 =3.14(2.5)2

= 3.14 * 6.25 =3.146.25

= 19.625 cm =19.625cm
