Lets multiply by -2 the first equation

$-4x^2-10y^2=-296$
$4x^2-3y^2=244$

Lets sum both equations

$-13y^2=-52$

$y^2=(-52)/-13=4$

Then $y=+-2$

Lets do the substitution in second equ. (for example, if you want the first, go ahead)

$4x^2-3(+-2)^2=244$ considering both signs...

$4x^2-12=244$

$4x^2=256$
$x^2=256/4=64$

$x=+-8$
