What are some examples of recessive genotypes and phenotypes ?

Recessive phenotypes are basically versions of certain phenotypes that are masked . You can inherit the alleles for them, but they are not expressed unless you have only that allele.
Some examples of this would be the diseases Sickle-cell anemia and Cystic Fibrosis. They are genetic disorders, but you are only affected if you have two recessive alleles for the trait. So technically you could have it, but not know it because of your dominant allele masking it. Thank goodness!
When you say recessive genotype, I assume that you're talking about the genotype that is associated with recessive diseases (homozygous recessive). Therefore, you could say that the recessive genotype is simply when you inherit two recessive alleles for any given trait. This would cause the recessive phenotype (as mentioned above).
Hope that helped :)
