What are the differences between Generalized and Continuous Amnesia?

Here's what I've got.
Explanation:
Generalized Amnesia Is when a person's amnesia encompasses his or her entire life including ones identity.
Continuous Amnesia Is memory loss which covers the entire period without interruption from a traumatic event in the past to the present.
The key difference is let's say Person A has Generalized Amnesia, whilst Person B has Continuous Amnesia. Person A is not aware of their surroundings. Person B is aware of their surroundings.
