Declarative, imperative, interrogative, and exclamatory
Explanation:
Declarative is as it sounds - it declares a statement. It does nothing more than state facts and ends in a period.
Example:
- It is raining outside.
Imperative sentences give a direction or command.
Example:
- Go take the garbage out.
Interrogative sentences are your question sentences
- Who, what, where, when, why, how
Example:
- Where are my shoes?
Exclamatory sentences usually end in exclamation points. They show strong emotion
Example:
- It's too dangerous to climb that mountain!
