Food or fuel? That is the question

Explanation:

In terms of biomass energy, it is important to keep in mind that biomass need area. Almost all available areas (agricultural fields) have been used to cultivate food.

If we decide a huge portion of this should be allocated for biomass production to produce fuel, there will be food shortage or people will clear forests, rangelands, etc. to convert such areas to agricultural areas.

This is the principal dilemma.
