What does red shift blue shift have to do with the big bang?

When a star o r Galaxy moves away from us the the light waves get expanded..So the spectrum have a shift to red end.

Explanation:

When the object comes towards us we get the waves compressed.
This shift in spectrum to wards blue end.
THe galaxies shows red shift.This is a proof for bog bang,the universe is expanding.Galaxies are going away from Us..
