US Congress's Committee on Agriculture has jurisdiction over agriculture and closely related fields.

Explanation:

US Congress's Committee on Agriculture has jurisdiction over agriculture and closely related fields, such as forestry and the dairy industry.

This Committee creates and regulates federal agricultural policies related to agricultural production, practices, research, economics, biotechnology, nutrition, and so forth.

Currently they administer and regularly review the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), which provides financial assistance for purchasing food for those who are low income.

They also produced the Agricultural Act of 2014, which strengthened assistance for livestock disasters and crop insurance, and created a permanent subcommittee within the EPA Science Advisory Board that reviews actions that would negatively affect the agricultural industry.
