LCM is 24.

Explanation:

Prime factors of 6 are 2xx3

and those of 8 are 2xx2xx2

Now for LCM just pick up all the prime numbers and they should be repeated the maximum number of times they appear as a factor of any single number.

Here in factors of 8, 2 appears thrice and 3 has appeared just once,

hence, LCM is 2xx2xx2xx3=24.
