Surely you can use the interwebz….?

Explanation:

I gets "formula mass of aluminum nitrate"-=213*g*mol^-1.

But how did I get that mass? I looked at the Periodic Table in front of me, which tells me that molar masses of Al, N, and O are 27.0*g*mol^-1, 14.01*g*mol^-1, 16.0*g*mol^-1 respectively...and I added these together appropriately...

{27.0+3xx14.01+9xx16}*g*mol^-1-=??*g*mol^-1

Molar mass: 213.01

Explanation:

Molar mass of a compound can be found by finding a periodic table and looking at the atomic mass of each element that is in the compound

Aluminium - 26.98
Nitrogen - 14.01
Oxygen - 16

Al(NO_3)_3 = 26.98+3times(14.01+16times3) = 213.01
