What is the process of becoming a moderator on Socratic?

There's no process for that.

Explanation:

We don't have a process put in place for the Mod position, but that could change in the future.

For now, all I can say is that you should hang around for a couple of years, write great answers and help other write great answers, earn the respect and the trust of the community, prove that you're committed to promoting our mission and our values, and then we'll talk.

This is true for the 'Hero' position as well, although I wouldn't say that you have to hang around for a couple of years to become a Hero.

As you would imagine, we can't just hand out Mod and Hero titles left and right. At the end of the day, you have to earn your stripes.
