y = -4x-35

Explanation:

Formula for slope is:

m = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

using this we have,

-4 = (-3 - y)/(-8 - x)

rArr-4*(-8-x) = -3-y

rArr32+4x = -3-y

by rearranging we have the equation of the line which passes through (-8,-3) with slope -4

y = -4x-35
