5x^-1-6x^-2+9x^-3-10x^-4

Explanation:

(10x^6-12x^5+18x^4-20x^3)-:(2x^7)

by long division:

(10x^6-12^5+18x^4-20x^3)/(2x^7)

=5x^-1-6x^-2+9x^-3-10x^-4

check:

2x^7(5x^-1-6x^-2+9x^-3-10x^-4)

=(10x^(-1+7)-12x^(-2+7)+18x^(-3+7)-20x^(-4+7))

=(10x^6-12x^5+18x^4-20x^3)

Take note: a^3*a^4=a^(3+4) and a^m/a^n=a^(m-n) m>n
