Chemical Digestion starts in your mouth and ends in your small intestine.
Explanation:
Your saliva contains amylase which starts to break down starch in the food you eat. Then, pepsin is secreted in the stomach to break down proteins. Next is the small intestine that releases more protease, carbohydrates and lipase.
The large intestine just absorbs water from the bolus of food and does not chemically digest any food.
