Let's say that a small popcorn equals #1#, and a medium popcorn equals #2#. If you were to find #3/4#of those numbers, you would find that Ella ate #3/2# and Presley only ate #3/4#. Obviously Presley ate more. This logic can be generalized. If you are finding the same fraction of 2 different numbers, the greater one will always have a greater amount (i.e. If Presley ate a large popcorn, he would have eaten more).
