Let the height of the table be hh then
h=1/2xxgxxt^2h=12×g×t2
=>h=1/2xx10xx (0.4)^2h=12×10×(0.4)2
:.h=0.8m
Also the horizontal displacement of the book can be given by d=1.25xx0.4=0.5 m
