We want to distribute to #(2w-3x)(-4+7w-5y)#
What we can do is break up the first term : #color(blue)((2w-3x))#

#color(blue)((2w))(-4+7w-5y)#

#color(blue)((-3x))(-4+7w-5y)#

Now we can distribute and get our answer:

#color(blue)((2w))(-4+7w-5y)=-8w+14w^2-10wy#

#color(blue)((-3x))(-4+7w-5y)=12x-21wx+15xy#

We now have:

#-8w+14w^2-10wy+12x-21wx+15xy#

What we can do now is rearrange them:

#14w^2-21wx-10wy-8w+15xy+12x#

I think what made it trick was that there's three variables involved.
