The death sentence was overturned and Morsi is still imprisoned. The reaction to this coup was mixed. Most Arab nations said they supported it or were neutral. One strong dissident was Tunisia who condemned the action. The U.S. didn't even recognize it as a coup. Many other countries were worried or concerned about it.
