So find what `-5+(-4)`is, which is the same as `-5-4`. It should be `-9`.

Now lets do the decimals. Find out what `(-0.8)+(-0.45)` is. This is the same as `(-0.8)-0.45` This equals to `-1.25`

Add it together: `-9+(-1.25 )or -9-1.25=-10.25`
