Political Change

Explanation:

Political change can mean a change in government, a change in a way of governing, transition of power, change in society and culture, and much more.

Political change in terms of government means that a country changes its type of Government, either by free will or pressure from other countries. One example of such is when the USSR fell and the Russia we know today was born. The USSR was a communistic country and then they changed to a semi-presidential system. A drastic change in government is a huge political change and can take some time to get used to and to tweak it to fit your country.

Another political change is way of governing. Similar to change of government, way of governing is a change of laws, edicts. adherence's, systems, or terms. When a country introduces a new law that affects certain demographics in a country, whether good or bad, it is political change. Like when a country passes a new tax law that taxes the wealthy more than the middle class or poor. That changes the atmosphere of the tax code and the aura of the tax system in that country.

Transition of Power is another big political change. In democracy and its subsidiarity's, when a elected official's term has expired (either because they lost re-election or can't run again) they must go through the process of transitioning their office for their successor. This means a new leader will emerge and might introduce new laws and new bills that would change the direction of a country. Also the new official brings in new people who might handle situations differently than their predecessor. This happens both on the national stage and local. One example is Former President Obama's brokered deals like the Paris Climate Agreement and the Iran Deal. Obama's successor, President Trump, is taking a different approach and has since pulled out of the Paris agreement and might rip up the Iran Deal.

The last major political change has to do with society and culture. Public opinion in certain controversies can change over the course of time with the newer generation being more accepting or more rejecting towards a idea or proposition. Society/culture changes with every generation and with it, new political opinions and ideals. Take gay rights. Teens and younger people are more accepting towards gay rights than teens and young people from the last generation. We, as a generation, tend to be more accepting towards the gay community because we are growing up in a society where being gay is accepted.
