Beryllium only is first than sodium then how it is considered that Na has the highest atomic radius ?????
1 Answer
Ok firstly Na does not have the highest atomic radius out of all the elements. The element that has the highest atomic radius is Francium.
Atomic radius Trend:
1. Decreases down a period due to an increase in effective nucleus charge
2. Increases down a group due to the increase in principal energy levels
And Beryllium has a lower atomic radius than Na, because it has lower energy levels
