Boiling point and Freezing point are both reliant on the temperature of the substance and has the capability to change the phases of the matter within the substance.

Take water for example. the boiling point of water is 100°C and the freezing point is 0°C. If you increase the temperature of water to 100°C, it will start to boil and evaporate, turning the liquid water into a gas as water vapor.
