Here in this sentence "are" is a finite verb.
Action verb is a finite verb.
Like; He stops to study. ( for a while) here---stop is a finite verb but to read is not a finite verb. ( infinitive)
He stops studying. ( he stops his study forever.) here same stop is a finite verb not studying. ( gerund)
So, all verbals, gerunds and infinitives are the examples of non finite verbs.
