Explain the difference between open and closed circulatory systems?

This must be based on the Year 9 curriculum. Extra derail would be nice.
Thankyou

Open and Closed are the two types of Circulatory systems.

Explanation:

Open type of circulatory system: In this type of circulatory system, there are no blood vessels. Blood flows in the open spaces called as sinuses. Heart, Sinuses and blood are the parts of this type of circulatory system. Ex. All insects
Closed type of circulatory system: In this type of circulatory system, blood vessels are present and the blood flows in the specified blood vessels. Heart, blood vessels and blood are the parts of this type of circulatory system. Arteries will carry oxygenated blood and veins will carry de-oxygenated blood. Ex. Earthworm, Humans etc.
