The Osmotic pressure is givenas pi ;

where pi= iCRT ;

Explanation:

i : van't hoff factor

C : concentration of solute

R : Universal gas constant

T : Temperature in Kelvin

i for Glucose =1

i for KCl =2

For the question given above it turns out that the R and T are same for both the solutes.

:. pi prop iC

:. For Glucose : pi prop 1xx 0.30M =0.30M

For KCl : pi prop 2xx0.15M =0.30M

Thus both have same Osmotic pressure.
