I’m assuming you mean macromolecules, which are practically the same thing. Macromolecules include carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids, and protein. All of these contribute to a healthy body, and because we can’t produce them on our own, we must consume them. They provide us with immediate energy, long-term energy storage, muscle growth, speeding up reactions, and holding genetic code (only the nucleic acids hold the genetic code though).
