Explanation:

f(x)=2x-4 and g(x)=3x+5f(x)=2x4andg(x)=3x+5

To find gf(3)gf(3) means to put the value of x=3x=3 into f(x)f(x) and then put the result into g(x)g(x)

f(x)=2x-4f(x)=2x4 when x=3 => f(3)=2xx3-4=2x=3f(3)=2×34=2

So f(3)=2f(3)=2 now put x=2x=2 into g(x)g(x)

g(2)=3xx2+5=11g(2)=3×2+5=11
