Explanation:
In the pulmonary circulation, the de-oxygenated blood from the vena cava enters the right atrium and then flows into the right ventricle. From there, it is pumped into the pulmonary artery, and is carried to the lungs for oxygenation.
The oxygenated blood is then carried from lungs to the left atrium of the heart by the pulmonary veins. It flows into the left ventricle and is sent through the aorta to the body.
This constitutes to the pulmonary circulation loop.
