=> |BAF|=|BEF|=24/2=12

let |AFD|=a, => |FED|=a
=> |DEC|=|AEC|-|AED|=24-2a
as |DBE|=|DEC|, => 12+a=24-2a, => a=4
Hence, |AFD|=a=4 " units"^2
