The equation of the axis of symmetry of a parabola is x=2. If the parabola intersects the x-axis at the points whose coordinates are (-1, 0) and (k, 0), what is k?

Please help me this review packet is due tomorrow. I know the answer is 5 because i have the answer key but i need an answer showing work!!!

The parabola is symmetrical about the line x=2. If the parabola intersects at (-1,0) this is 3 away from the line of symmetry. Add 3 to 2 `=>5` so the symmetrical point would be (5,0)
