Your correction is tangent in place of cotanget

For 1st position

h/x=tan("angle of elevation-1")=3/5.....(1)

For 2nd position

h/(x-32)=tan("angle of elevation-2")=2/3..(2)

From (1) and (2) after inverting and subtracting we can write

x/h-(x-32)/h=5/3-3/2

32/h=1/6

:.h=32xx6=192m
