You need 6 liters of pure antifreeze and 3 liters of 10%

Let $v=$ volume of pure anti freeze

Then $9-v=$ volume of $10%$ anti freeze mixture

You write an equation , with respect to the quantity of anti freeze

$v*100%+(9-v)*10%=9*70%$

So,

$v+0.1(9-v)=9*0.7=6.3$

$v+0.9-0.1v=6.3$

$0.9v=5.4$

$v=5.4/0.9=6$

Volume of pure anti feeze $=6$ liters

Volume of 10 % anti freeze $=3$ liters
