Explanation:

"Density", rho = "Mass"/"Volume"

And thus, "Volume" = "Mass"/rho

And now we put in some noombers:

"volume"_"Hg" = (2.4*cancel(kg)xx10^3*cancelg*cancel(kg^-1))/(13.6*cancelg*mL^-1)

~=175*1/(1/"mL")=175*mL

Often when you pick up a phial of mercury you are surprised at its mass. Mercury is dense stuff.
