Explanation:

ac=v2r
The block completes 4 rotations each minute so it describes 42π radians each 60 seconds giving and angulra velocity of:
ω=42π60=0.42rads;
The corresponding linear velocity is:
v=ωr=0.421.5=0.63ms.
So finally:
ac=v2r=(0.63)21.5=0.26ms2
