In standard form it is
#x^2+x-12#

standard form is
#x^2-"(sum of the roots)"x+"product of roots"#
Here,
#"(sum of the roots)"=-3+4=1#
#"product of roots"=-3xx4=-12#
Substituting
#x^2-"(sum of the roots)"x+"product of roots"=x^2+1x+(-12)#
In standard form it is
#x^2+x-12#
