How can you find a function, if you already know the rate of change of the function?

If you know the formula of f'(x), then you can find the formula f(x) except for its constant term by taking an antiderivative

f(x)=\int f'(x)dx.

If you have an additional information about f(x) such as a point on the graph of f, then you will be able to find its constant term as well.
