Let $log_(1/2)(15)=y$

Hence $(1/2)^y=15$ . Now taking logarithm om both sides, we get

$ylog(1/2)=log15$

or

$y=log15/log0.5$

= $1.1761/(-0.3010$

= $-3.9073$
