Answer : y = 2/5x + 6/5

The slope-intercept form equation is of the form:
y = mx + c

We need to arrange 2x - 5y + 6 = 0 in the form above, right?

Here we go,

-5y + 6 = -2x

By factoring -5 on my left hand side,
-5(y - 6/5) = -2x

Dividing both sides by -5
=> y - 6/5 = (-2x)/(-5)

=> y - 6/5 = 2/5(x)

y = 2/5x + 6/5

and voila.
