(2x+7)(x+1)

Explanation:

2x^2 +9x+7

We need to find factors of 2 and 7 whose products add to 9.

As they are both prime numbers, there are only 2 options for the sum of their products.. either 9 or 15

We can realise that (2xx1) + (7xx1) will give 2+7=9

(2x+7)(x+1)

Check by multiplying out. (FOIL)

= 2x^2+2x+7x+7

=2x^2 +9x+7
