Explanation:

x^2-11x+18=0

Find factors of 18 which ADD (because of the + with 18) to make 11.
The signs will be the SAME because of the + with 18), they will BOTH be MINUS. (because of the - with -11).

9 xx 2 = 18 and 9+2= 11

(x-9)(x-2)=0
