The inverse of a function is found by switching the x and y values in the equation.

Explanation:

y = x^3 + 5y=x3+5

:. x = y^3 + 5

x - 5 = y^3

root(3)(x - 5) = y

f^(-1)(x) = root(3)(x - 5)
