slope m=-2/3and Y -intercept =4

Explanation:

If the equation of the line is ax+by+c=0,then

slope : m=-a/band Y-intercept =-c/b.

we have,

2x+3y=12

=>2x+3y-12=0=>a=2,b=3,c=-12

So, slope m=-2/3and Y -intercept #=-(-12)/3=12/3=

OR
2x+3y=12=>3y=-2x+12=>y=(-2/3)x+12/3
y=(-2/3)x+4

Comparing with y=mx+c,

where m is the slope and c is the y-intercept

we get m=-2/3andc=4
