y intercept = $7/4$

3x + 4y = 7
4y = -3x +7
y = $-3/4$ x + $7/4$

comparing with y=mx+c
we get,
m= slope = $-3/4$

c = y intercept = $7/4$

3x +4y = 7

$3/7$ x + $4/7$ y = $7/7$

$3/7$ x + $4/7$ y = 1

$x/ (7/3)$ + $y/ (7/4)$ = 1

comparing with $x/a$ + $y/b$ = 1
we get,
x intercept = $7/3$
