Explanation:

set ln(4-x)=y

Build a table listing a selection of positive and negative values for x

For each value of x calculate the value of y and record that in your table

Mark the (x,y) points and as best as you can draw a freehand curve that passes through your marked points.

I usually use Excel to build table examples but for some reason it is not working.

Do not forget that if x<0, say -3 for example then

y=ln(4-x) " "->" " y=ln[4-(-3)] " "->" " y=ln(4+3)
