Rewrite the equation to $y=mx+b$

This is relatively easy, just subtract $x$ on both sides

$x+y=-2->y=-x-2->y=(-1)x-2$
Now the slope is obiously $-1$ and the $y$ -intercept is $-2$

You can start by rearranging your equation as:
$y=ax+b$
where:
$a$ is the slope
$b$ is the intercept.

in your case:

$y=-x-2$
Where:
slope= $-1$
intercept= $-2$ on the $y$ axis.
