How do you graph x+y=-2 using slope and y intercepts?

Rewrite the equation to y=mx+b

This is relatively easy, just subtract x on both sides

x+y=-2->y=-x-2->y=(-1)x-2
Now the slope is obiously -1 and the y-intercept is -2

You can start by rearranging your equation as:
y=ax+b
where:
a is the slope
b is the intercept.

in your case:

y=-x-2
Where:
slope=-1
intercept=-2 on the y axis.

Your slope tells you that every time x increases of 1 unit y decreases of 1 unit .
