I found: $x=-1/5$

We can use $5x$ as common denominator and rearrange as:
$5/cancel(5x)=(6+5x)/cancel(5x)$
$5x=5-6$
$5x=-1$
$x=-1/5$
which is an acceptable solution

How do you solve 1/x=6/(5x)+11/x=6/(5x)+1 and check for extraneous solutions?
