How do you solve log_7 x=log_2 9log7x=log29?

Ok...I tried various things but the only thing I found is to change base of the second log and use a calculator to evaluate it as:
log_7(x)=ln9/ln2=3.17log7(x)=ln9ln2=3.17 (where lnln is the natural log).
so using the definition of logarithm:
x=7^3.17=477.5x=73.17=477.5

Probably there are more elgant ways but...
