The solution for the system of equations is

color(blue)(x=5,y=1

Explanation:

-3x+color(blue)(4y)=-11....equation (1)

-5x -2y=-27 , multiplying by 2
-10x -color(blue)(4y)=-54....equation (2)

Solving by elimination.

Adding the two equations.

-3x+cancelcolor(blue)(4y)=-11

-10x -cancelcolor(blue)(4y)=-54

-13x=-65

color(blue)(x=5

Finding y:
-3x+4y=-11

4y=-11+3x

4y=-11+3 xx 5

4y=-11+15

4y=4

y=4/4

color(blue)(y=1
