The vertex form of equation is f(x)=(x+2)^2-4

Explanation:

f(x)=x^2+4x or f(x)=x^2+4x+4 -4 or

f(x)=(x+2)^2-4 . Comparing with vertex form of

equation f(x) = a(x-h)^2+k ; (h,k) being vertex we find

here h=-2 , k=-4 , a=1:. Vertex is at (-2,-4)

The vertex form of equation is f(x)=(x+2)^2-4
