The point slope formula is
(y - y_1) = m (x - x_1)(yy1)=m(xx1)
Where m = the slope calculated as (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)y2y1x2x1

(x_1,y_1) (x_2,y_2)(x1,y1)(x2,y2)
(-2 , 3) (-1 , -2)

m = (-2 - 3)/(-1 - (-2))231(2) = (-5)/151 = m = -5

(y - 3) = -5 (x - (-2))(y3)=5(x(2))

y - 3 = -5(x + 2)y3=5(x+2)

y - 3 = -5x - 10y3=5x10

y = -5x - 10 + 3y=5x10+3

y = -5x - 7y=5x7
